Valley Property Management – Snow Removal FAQ
Is Snow removal included for my rental address ?
Specific information regarding snow removal responsibilities and if plowing is included or not is provided on your home’s Information Web Page under the Snow Removal section. The page is accessible by scanning the QR code near the entrance door. The details are also in the lease agreement.
If your address includes snow removal, please see additional details below.
When does snow removal begin?
Plowing and clearing usually begin after the storm has mostly concluded. This allows us to clear all areas effectively and prevents the need for multiple passes.
Will I be notified when the plow is coming to my specific lot?
No. The plow follows a set route to service all properties as efficiently as possible, so we cannot provide a specific time for when they will arrive at your building.
Can I move my car for the plow to clear that spot?
The plow operators are on a schedule and cannot wait for tenants to move their cars. If your vehicle is blocking an area that needs to be cleared, the plow may work around it, leaving that spot uncleared. Please park in a way that the plow can come through and pile snow without blockage.
What should I do to ensure my parking spot is cleared?
If possible, please move your vehicle to a cleared location (like a main street or temporary spot if designated by management) to allow the plow to clear your entire parking area.
Guest parking
Please, NO guest parking during snowstorms and cleanup efforts, our lots are already tight and having additional vehicles will increase the difficulty and likely decrease the effectiveness of snow removal efforts.
